The attention of border health is an effort of responsibility. The clash of two cultures, ideologies, economical, political and legal systems,  make life within the border unique; with characteristic different from other cities; this situation magnifies the relationship with the most developed country in the continent, which causes people from different backgrounds to emigrate for a better quality life.

The migration phenomenon just like characteristics of border cities has an effect on public and individual health. That is the reason the actions of the United States- Mexico Border Health Commission strive to improve the access to health services, with disease prevention and health promotion as a focus, which allows having a better quality life with the help of promoting healthy habits.

For this, each year the commitment of the United States- Mexico Border Health Commission, through the Planning committee, Programming, Budget and Coordination, they discuss and approve the binational activities that will be included in the work plan. Here under, the description of the activities that will be performed during 2015-2016.
